Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Kenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Unholy Confessions by Avenged Sevenfold. Patrick Kenzie is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Patrick Kenzie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Paul Walker! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenzie thows a left - swing and a miss! Kenzie misses with a wild body shot. Kenzie thows a body shot but no joy. Walker doesn't manage to clinch there - Kenzie circles away.
Kenzie slips a jab and a cross from Walker.
Kenzie misses with a straight right. Walker on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kenzie misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenzie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kenzie swats away the attempt to clinch by Walker. Kenzie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kenzie throws a jab but it's blocked by Walker. Walker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Walker takes one to the side of the head.
Kenzie misses with a wild combination.
Walker shoots in for a double leg but Kenzie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kenzie takes a swing at Walker's ribcage but misses. Good exchange - Kenzie coming out on top. Patrick Kenzie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Walker looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kenzie is fending him off so far but Walker persists. Nope, Kenzie circles away and we're back to standing. Patrick Kenzie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Walker. Kenzie goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Kenzie avoids the head kick by Walker.
Walker misses with a takedown attempt - Kenzie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenzie fails to land with a series of punches.
Walker slips a jab and a cross from Kenzie.
Kenzie scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kenzie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Walker dodges the punch combination from Kenzie.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Patrick Kenzie dominated that round. That's time! Kenzie's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Walker is looking to clinch. Kenzie scores with a crisp jab that stopped Walker in his tracks. A looping hook to the body misses from Kenzie. Walker does a little dance to reset his feet. Walker rushes Kenzie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Walker trying to control the position but instead, Kenzie has worked for underhooks and has pushed Walker into the cage. Kenzie blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenzie breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kenzie swings for the body but Walker moves out of range.

Patrick Kenzie is winning the standup battle so far. Kenzie throws a predictable looking body shot
and Walker holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. A head punch on the inside from Walker fails to land. Walker is struggling to control the position. A quick uppercut on the inside from Walker. Walker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walker misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kenzie blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kenzie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Walker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kenzie has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Walker jumps guard but Kenzie turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kenzie blocks an elbow strike from Walker.
Walker is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Kenzie is defending well. Kenzie lands a left hand that snaps the head of Walker backwards. Kenzie is trying to break the clinch but Walker has him pressed against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kenzie. Walker changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kenzie fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Patrick Kenzie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Walker. The fighters circling - Kenzie throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker tries to clinch but Kenzie moves out of range. Kenzie misses with the combination.
Kenzie gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Walker to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenzie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Walker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kenzie swivels though and keeps the full guard. Walker postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Kenzie keeping full guard, as Walker tries to pass. Walker is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paul Walker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Kenzie paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Kenzie looks to land a right hand but Walker moved out of range. Kenzie circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Walker counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Walker is trying to pull guard but Kenzie turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Walker misses with some punches.
Walker tries to pull guard but Kenzie forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Walker looks to throw an elbow but misses. Kenzie tries to break free but Walker pushes him back against the cage. Walker misses with an elbow strike.

Walker tries to work over Kenzie's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Walker tries to throw a body punch but Kenzie avoids it by throwing Walker back against the cage. Walker working aggressively here.
Walker throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kenzies head. Walker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kenzie backwards. Kenzie is pressed up against the cage. Walker has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kenzie down to the mat. Kenzie avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kenzie misses with a wild body shot. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kenzie throws an overhand right that lands on Walker's shoulder, as Walker tries to avoid the shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker walks into a left hand. Kenzie throws a looping overhand right but Walker ducks down to avoid it. Kenzie looks to land a combination but Walker avoids it well. Kenzie misses with a hook. Walker ducked under it nicely. Walker on the wrong end of a nice hook. Walker takes the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenzie blocks a body shot from Walker. Kenzie breaks from the clinch.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kenzie swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Walker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kenzie's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kenzie is keeping the position for now.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Patrick Kenzie. I think Kenzie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
