The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilkins pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Berry fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wilkins throws a head kick that misses. Thyre Wilkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wilkins misses with a two punch combination.
Wilkins tries to bum rush Berry with a series of wild strikes but Berry uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Berry steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wilkins. Berry defending well as Wilkins loads up on a big left hand. Wilkins waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Berry. Berry displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Wilkins throws out the jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Berry won't allow Wilkins to sweep him here. Berry won't allow Wilkins to get back to his feet.

Berry pushes down on Wilkins's leg and manages to get into half guard. Berry is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
