The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damon misses with a kick to the body.
Arona takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Arona blocks a jab.
Damon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Arona. That did some damage!
Arona showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Damon.
Arona checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Arona looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Damon is fending him off so far but Arona persists. Nope, Damon circles away and we're back to standing.

and Damon counters with a crisp right hand that drops Arona! Damon lets Arona back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Ricardo Arona has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Arona shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Damon counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Arona badly! Damon follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Arona out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Damon finished him against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ron Damon!
Ron Damon bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
