Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks fails to land with a series of punches.
Banks swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sims shoots for a double leg takedown but Banks sprawls well. He's pushed Sims's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sims cracks Banks with a good jab.
Banks lands with an uppercut that bounces Sims off the cage and back into range.
A combination from Banks does no damage.

Sims looks for a takedown but Banks sprawls well.
Sims drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Banks lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sims looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Banks is fending him off so far but Sims persists. Nope, Banks circles away and we're back to standing.
Robin Banks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William Sims.
Sims fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Banks, pushing him back against the cage.

William Sims seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Banks throws a series of strikes that have Sims backpedaling.
Banks uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Sims.

Sims doesn't manage to clinch there - Banks circles away.

and Banks counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sims won't be happy with that.
Banks wants to control but Sims is keeping him busy.

Banks batters Sims with a massive right followed by a huge left! Sims is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Banks lands a final crushing right hand to drop Sims to the mat with a gruesome thud! Banks is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
