The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lopez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lopez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lopez.
Lopez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hicks connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lopez scrambles back to his feet.
