Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Money Montell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montell's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Get Money. Hugo Torres told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hugo Torres!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montell slips under a jab.
Montell misses with a series of wild punches.
Montell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Montell misses with a hook
and Torres makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Nice body kick there by Torres.
Montell wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Montell rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Torres counters with a low kick, right behind Montell 's knee.

Montell ducks under a wild hook from Torres.
Torres avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Torres slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Torres checks a leg kick.
Torres cracks Montell with a good jab.
Montell throws a leg kick which misses Torres's front leg but catches the back leg as Torres tries to avoid it.
Montell feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Torres's calf.

Torres fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Torres finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Montell takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Torres connects with a good right hand that stumbles Montell. Montell circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Montell on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Torres blocks a leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Torres, as that shot connected.
Torres connects with a leg kick. Montell looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Montell throws a jab but it's blocked by Torres.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Torres lands with a nice body punch.

Torres ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Montell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Torres lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Torres steps in with a hook that catches Montell right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Torres follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Montell looks absolutely devastated.

After winning the bout, Hugo Torres thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
