Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenji Akiyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akiyama comes to the cage accompanied by Akiyama Theme Song (This Is My Life - Edward Maya). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akiyama lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Rocky Marciano has been cut.
Akiyama listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Marciano takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Marciano waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Akiyama.
Marciano lands a glancing blow to the side of Akiyama's head.
Marciano connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Akiyama momentarily.
Akiyama slips a straight right by Marciano.
Akiyama throws a nice head kick!
Marciano lands a left and a right that send Akiyama crashing to the mat, dazed. Marciano thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Marciano throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marciano misses with a kick to the body.
Marciano lands with a right that hurts Akiyama. Akiyama looks to clinch but Marciano throws a short knee that drops Akiyama. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Rocky Marciano!
