Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Bunoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kerr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Scotland The Brave [Instrumental]. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as George Bunoyan enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tom Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Bunoyan! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Kerr as Bunoyan shoots in. Kerr slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
It looks like George Bunoyan has been cut. Kerr scores with a punch to the head. Kerr showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bunoyan.
Kerr dips down and scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kerr lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Bunoyan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kerr as he jumps to the side. Bunoyan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bunoyan tries to free his leg and advance position but Kerr is retaining full guard. Kerr is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kerr takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short uppercut from Kerr. Kerr stalling against the cage.
Bunoyan is trying to pull guard but Kerr turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Tom Kerr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Bunoyan. Kerr lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
That has opened up George Bunoyan's cut even more. Come on Kerr - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kerr lands a body punch. Bunoyan looks gassed! Kerr tightens his grip and picks Bunoyan up, before dumping him to the ground. Bunoyan manages to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kerr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kerr looking to control the position here, rather than advance. This has been an exciting period of action! Kerr lands a couple of elbows. Kerr seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bunoyan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kerr is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Kerr sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Bunoyan's guard. Kerr controlling the action here. Ground and pound from Kerr.
The cut above George Bunoyan's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Kerr is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kerr is controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kerr is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bunoyan! Bunoyan is trying desperately to improve position. Kerr has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kerr fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
George Bunoyan's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at George Bunoyan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tom Kerr! Tom Kerr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
