The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larios avoids the body shot from Valverde.
Valverde lands a nice hook to Larios's body. Larios takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Valverde thows a body shot but no joy.

Valverde tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Larios shoots for a double leg takedown but Valverde sprawls well. He's pushed Larios's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Larios closes the distance and clinches up with Valverde, looking for a takedown. Larios pushes Valverde against the cage but Valverde circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Valverde catches Larios with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Valverde closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Larios! Valverde dives in looking to finish! Larios is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
