The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apanson throws a head kick but Bear Junior moves out of range.
Bear Junior slips under a jab from Apanson.
Apanson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Apanson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Apanson prevents Bear Junior from getting the reversal.

Bear Junior tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Poor strikes thrown by Apanson there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Apanson is landing with some decent strikes but Bear Junior is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Bear Junior is bucking up trying to escape but Apanson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bear Junior is rocked!
Apanson looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Bear Junior covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
