The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn works Kozar's body with a nice hook. Kozar has a takedown stuffed. Kozar circles away from the clinch attempt.

Penn scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are battling for position here. Kozar manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Penn looking to pass the guard. Kozar keeping moving, preventing Penn from controlling successfully. Kozar wants to stand and escape but Penn is having none of it. Penn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kozar works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Penn slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Baby Jay Penn wasn't active enough on the ground. Kozar looks for a takedown but Penn sprawls well. Penn tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kozar tries for a takedown but Penn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Penn gets a clinch. Penn closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kozar's guard. Kozar looking for a sweep. Not yet Kozar, not yet. Kozar throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Penn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kozar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Penn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Penn tries to free his leg and advance position but Kozar is retaining full guard. Penn throws a big right hand that misses. Penn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kozar is keeping the position for now. Kozar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. That could spell trouble for Penn! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Penn is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Penn is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Penn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kozar sprawls well initially but Penn persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kozar punching from the bottom.

Kozar doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kozar manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kozar passes Penn's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Penn is trying to get back to full guard. Penn keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kozar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Penn wants to control but Kozar is keeping busy.
Kozar is trying to control the action in half guard but Penn is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kozar connects with a nice short shot to Penn's temple.

The fighters are battling for position here. Penn manages to regain full guard. Nice work. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Penn can do anything to dispel that myth. Kozar postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kozar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kozar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Penn manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Kozar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Penn pulls Kozar in close to prevent any damage. Penn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Penn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That was a close second round but I would say that Harry Kozar will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Penn wants to try and get back to his feet. A nice elbow there by Kozar. Penn wants to hold on but Kozar pushes him away. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kozar cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Penn wants to control but Kozar is having none of it. Kozar lands with some strikes. Penn keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Kozar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kozar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Penn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Penn wants to hold on but Kozar pushes him away. Penn is desperately trying to improve his position but Kozar has a good base and remains in mount. Kozar cracks Penn with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kozar unloading with bombs! Penn is in all sorts of trouble here.
Penn tries to hold on but Kozar postures up. Kozar putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Penn in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Penn wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Kozar.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kozar raining down shots from the mount!
Penn is rocked! Kozar blocks Penn's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Harry Kozar showed his dominance in that final round. I think Kozar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
