Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Dupree Owens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Zach Parise!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Owens.
It looks like Zach Parise has been cut.
Owens fails with an attempt to clinch.
Owens throws a nice looking combination but Parise bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Owens fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Owens looks to land a combination but Parise avoids it well.
Owens takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Parise jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Owens lands a nice leg kick that just misses Parise's sensitive parts.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Owens throws a big shot that misses.
Parise throws a lazy uppercut
and Owens counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Parise thinking.
Owens fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Parise tries to clinch up but Owens circles away and keeps his distance.
Parise showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Owens.
Parise ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Owens slips a jab and a cross from Parise.
Owens looks to land a combination but Parise avoids it well.
Parise throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Owens counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Owens.

Parise misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Parise trying to control the position but instead, Owens has worked for underhooks and has pushed Parise into the cage.
Owens wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Parise has him pressed against the cage.
Parise misses with a punch on the inside.
Owens has had enough of the clinch but Parise keeps him there for the moment.
Owens breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Parise jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Owens looks to score with a jab to the body but Parise is just out of range.
Parise throws a jab but it's blocked by Owens.
An inside leg kick from Owens misses.
Owens tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Owens fails to land with a series of punches.
Parise blocks a jab.
Jab, jab by Parise - just one landing.
Owens misses with a body shot.
Parise smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Owens connects with a single shot there.
Parise moves out of range of the strikes.
A jab from Owens finds it's way through Parise's defenses.
Parise is rocked!
Owens connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Parise out cold! This one is over in a flash!
