Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blake Axe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dylan Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Axe comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom the Bell Tolls. Dylan Davison has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Blake Axe's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Blake Axe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Dylan Davison!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Axe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davison but Davison pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Axe moves to clinch but Davison breaks away

and Davison counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Axe's guard now.
Davison keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Axe's head.
Davison postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Axe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Axe looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Axe controls Davison momentarily but Davison frees himself.
Davison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Axe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Axe avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Davison with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Axe is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davison is aware though and is defending well.

Axe isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Davison stacks Axe on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Davison!

Davison is stalling here. Axe is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Davison seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Axe has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Axe can't control as he wanted to and Davison manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Axe is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Davison defends it well.

Axe cracks Davison with a right hand to the side of the head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Axe lands a nice short elbow.

Axe is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Davison is just riding it out for now. Axe eventually gives up the hold.
Axe is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Davison reverses the position - he's now on top in Axe's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well Axe has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
