PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ice Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ice Man told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Man loads up on a big right hand but Materla slips the punch.
Man looks to land a right hand but Materla moved out of range.

Man turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Materla avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Materla takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Man connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Materla momentarily.

Materla throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Man was covering up waiting for the punch and Materla finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Man really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Materla. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Materla drops back looking for a leg! Man is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Man manages to kick Materla off! Materla jumps back into Man's guard.
