Galindo misses with a hook.
Galindo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mendez to the ground. Galindo is now in Mendez's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Galindo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mendez swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mendez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Mendez can't keep his opponent in guard - Galindo advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Mendez has his foot on Galindo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Galindo works his way back into a safe position though.

Galindo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mendez is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
