Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kris Kringle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Rajamaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toni Rajamaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kris Kringle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Toni Rajamaki!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rajamaki connects with a high kick.


It looks like Kris Kringle has been cut.

Oooooh!!! Rajamaki has knocked Kringle down with a huge combo! Rajamaki steps away and waves a wobbly Kringle back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Kringle is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rajamaki throws a head kick but Kringle moves out of range.
Oh Kringle is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rajamaki leaves Kringle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Rajamaki rushes Kringle and presses him up against the cage.

Rajamaki breaks from the clinch.
Kringle misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kringle seems to have got his legs back now.
Kringle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rajamaki tries to avoid it but Kringle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rajamaki to the ground. Rajamaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kris Kringle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kringle fails in his attempt to clinch.

Kringle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kringle will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kringle postures up in Rajamaki's guard and throws a big left but Rajamaki blocks it.

Rajamaki is looking for a triangle but Kringle pushes his legs off easily.

Kringle is pushing down on Rajamaki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rajamaki is fighting to maintain full guard but Kringle has managed to sneak the leg through.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kringle seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Rajamaki does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kringle stalling away here and it's allowed Rajamaki to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Kringle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rajamaki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kris Kringle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kris Kringle will probably get the nod.

Kringle is trying to drag Rajamaki to the mat but Rajamaki just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kringle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kringle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
