The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saidov closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Filippov's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Saidov postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Filippov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Saidov on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Filippov is trying to force a seperation but Saidov has the dominant position.
Saidov wants the takedown. Filippov is fighting it off but Saidov persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Filippov's guard against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
