The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tucker misses with a wild body shot.

Tucker gets tackled into the cage by Machado. Machado maintains the clinch.
Machado tries to throw a body punch but Tucker avoids it by throwing Machado back against the cage.

Tucker shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Machado eats them both and turns towards Tucker to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Machado throws a hook but Tucker avoids it easily.
Tucker stalks Machado and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Machado's face. Machado staggers backwards, shaken.

Machado takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Tucker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That was a close round but I would say that Tom Tucker will probably get the nod.
