The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Smith lands with an uppercut that bounces Nogueira off the cage and back into range.

Nogueira has his takedown stuffed
enabling Smith to counter with a crisp jab.
Smith closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Smith prevents a takedown attempt there.
Smith decides to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Nogueira wants to get back to full guard but Smith has passed into side control.
Smith tries for a kimura but Nogueira is defending well.
Smith fails to land a wild elbow strike.

Smith has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Smith listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Smith takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith drops Nogueira with a naaaaasty hook - Nogueira is in real trouble here! Smith dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
