The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk lands a nice hook to Cullen's body. Cullen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sherk takes one on the chin but seems OK.
It looks like Bryan Sherk has been cut.
A jab from Cullen misses.
Sherk ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Cullen takes a swing at Sherk's ribcage but misses.
Cullen tries a low kick but Sherk avoids it.
Cullen cracks Sherk with a good jab.

Sherk is trying to drag Cullen to the mat but Cullen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Cullen using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sherk has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sherk drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cullen pulls his leg out and moves away.
Cullen goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Cullen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Cullen throws a head kick that Sherk semi-blocks.
Cullen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Cullen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sherk's calf.
Keat Cullen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sherk misses the shot to the body.
Sherk avoids the head kick by Cullen.

Cullen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Sherk is out of range and Cullen settles back down.
Cullen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cullen feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sherk's calf.
Sherk moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Keat Cullen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cullen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sherk moves out of range as Cullen strikes.

Sherk displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cullen throws out the jab.

Sherk throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cullen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice takedown defense from Cullen. No joy for Sherk on that attempt.
Keat Cullen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Sherk.
Cullen misses with a low kick.
Cullen avoids the body shot from Sherk.
Cullen tries to clinch up but Sherk circles away and keeps his distance.
Sherk fails with a takedown attempt.
Cullen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sherk takes a swing at Cullen's ribcage but misses.
Cullen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sherk.
Sherk throws a jab but it's blocked by Cullen.
Cullen lands a body shot.
Cullen scores with a leg kick.

Sherk lands with an uppercut that bounces Cullen off the cage and back into range.
A head kick from Cullen lands but Sherk takes it in his stride.
Sherk is rocked!
A shot to the liver by Cullen. Beautiful body shot.
Sherk is still on wobbly legs! Can Cullen finish him?
Sherk looks gassed!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cullen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sherk.
Cullen throws a quick inside leg kick.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Cullen engages and cracks Sherk with a massive lead left hook - Sherk tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Cullen is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keat Cullen!
In his post fight interview, Keat Cullen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
