Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Susanna Saukkonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hunt Bandolier!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bandolier tries to clinch but Saukkonen moves out of range.
Susanna Saukkonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bandolier throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Saukkonen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Saukkonen throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Bandolier stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Saukkonen follows into mount!
Bandolier is rocked!
It looks like Hunt Bandolier has been cut.
Saukkonen has hold of Bandolier's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bandolier manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bandolier is still in real trouble! Can Saukkonen finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bandolier is working to get back to half guard.
Bandolier seems to have recovered his senses.
Bandolier wants to control but Saukkonen is having none of it.

Saukkonen is standing up, even though he is in mount.
Bandolier scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Bandolier tries to clinch but Saukkonen moves out of range.
Bandolier circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bandolier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Saukkonen gets to his feet - Bandolier follows without any prompting.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bandolier has eaten all the pies!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Saukkonen.
Saukkonen gets caught flat footed, as Bandolier shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Saukkonen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bandolier off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Saukkonen is breathing heavily.
Saukkonen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bandolier counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bandolier.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bandolier is looking to stand up but Saukkonen won't let him.
Bandolier tries to free his leg and advance position but Saukkonen is retaining full guard.

Saukkonen manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bandolier is trying to escape the mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Susanna Saukkonen will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Hunt Bandolier's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Saukkonen throws and low kick but Bandolier moves out of range easily.
Saukkonen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Saukkonen pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bandolier is out of range and Saukkonen settles back down.

Bandolier tries to clinch up but Saukkonen circles away and keeps his distance.
Bandolier decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Saukkonen is trying to stand.

Bandolier would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Saukkonen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bandolier is controlling him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Saukkonen looking for a guillotine here but Bandolier defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bandolier slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bandolier has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Saukkonen is proving hard to escape from.
Bandolier postures up and lands a big shot to Saukkonen's brow.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bandolier looking to sit in guard and control but Saukkonen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Bandolier really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Saukkonen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Saukkonen won't allow Bandolier to sweep him here.
Bandolier is looking to stand up but Saukkonen isn't so interested in that idea.
Saukkonen stands up and waves to Bandolier to follow him.

Saukkonen is bucking up trying to escape but Bandolier cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Hunt Bandolier has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bandolier goes for an armbar but Saukkonen turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Saukkonen.

The fighters are battling for position here. Bandolier manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Saukkonen wants to stand but Bandolier is controlling his posture from full guard.
Saukkonen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's time! Back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Saukkonen throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bandolier.
Saukkonen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bandolier moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bandolier tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Saukkonen's corner calls for a 1-2. Saukkonen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Saukkonen rushes Bandolier and presses him up against the cage.
Bandolier swings wildly with an uppercut but Saukkonen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bandolier's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Bandolier tries to land knees in the clinch but Saukkonen avoids the damage to the body.
Bandolier tries to pull guard but Saukkonen won't allow it.
Saukkonen connects with a nasty looking knee right to Bandolier's face.
Bandolier tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Saukkonen smiles and moves away.
Bandolier shoots in but Saukkonen avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Susanna Saukkonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hunt Bandolier.
Saukkonen lands a brutal head kick. Bandolier looks out on his feet and Saukkonen throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
