The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua throws a right hand that Maximus ducks under and follows up with a left that Maximus also avoids with ease.
Rua lands a jab-cross combination.
Maximus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Maximus lands a front kick.
Maximus explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Maximus lands a big head kick that sends Rua tumbling to the mat! Maximus takes a step backwards and waves Rua back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Rua is rocked!
It looks like Shogun Rua has been cut.
