Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yeyo Molero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Andre Ward!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Molero.
Ward shoots in looking for a takedown but Molero manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ward's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ward.

and Molero counters with a takedown into side control.
Ward keeps Molero under control for a moment.
Molero wants to control but Ward is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Yeyo Molero.

Molero jumps guard but Ward stands there with Molero around his waist. Molero gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Molero wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ward, who protects the arm well.
The referee asks Molero politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Molero prefers to stall for the moment though.

Ward takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Molero advances to mount.
Molero looking to control but Ward is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Ward really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Molero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Molero lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Molero takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Ward shoots in looking for a takedown. Molero tries to sprawl out of it but Ward keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Molero manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ward is desperately trying to improve his position but Molero has a good base and remains in mount.

Molero is working for a guillotine from mount but Ward frees his head quite easily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Molero is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ward can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ward fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yeyo Molero.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Molero, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
