Slade's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Conan The Destroyer. Riessig Slade had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Riessig Slade! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Clark Kent! The judges for this bout are , and .
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kent shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Slade slips under a jab. Kent tries to clinch up but Slade circles away and keeps his distance. Nice sprawl there from Slade as Kent shoots in. Kent shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Slade pinned against the cage. Slade gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Riessig Slade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Kent. No luck for Slade with that takedown attempt. Kent shoots in for a takedown but Slade shows good takedown defense. Kent shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Slade counters with a one-two to the body. Kent is looking to clinch but Slade is avoiding it.
Slade closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kent tries to pull guard but Slade won't allow it.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kent. Slade misses with the head strike.
Kent jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Slade walks away with a smile on his face. Kent gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kent misses with a takedown attempt
and Slade counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Slade wants to work for an arm triangle but Kent is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Slade is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kent is trying is best to control the position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kent looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Slade is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kent is just riding it out for now. Slade eventually gives up the hold.
Slade is working for a submission of some sort.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Slade is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Kent to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kent not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Slade thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kent had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Slade defends it easily. Kent manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kent landing strikes from the mount and Slade is in trouble!
 That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kent working for a submission but Slade is keeping him at bay. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Slade can't escape the position.
Kent landing strikes, looking to finish! Slade keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Slade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kent on the ground. Slade gets back to half guard. Slade is looking to improve his position.
Kent uses his free foot to push down on Slade's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Slade. Kent tries to control but Slade wriggling away. Slade on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Slade tries to get out of the position. Slade is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kent can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slade is looking to escape.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kent lands a big shot there that rocks Slade but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Slade tries to reverse the position but Kent maintains control. Slade is working hard here to advance position. Slade wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back. Slade is breathing heavily.
Kent has got one arm under Slade's chin. This could be trouble... Slade trying to control the other hand but Kent gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Slade has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Clark Kent! Clark Kent spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
