The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington tries to sprawl but Harding drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Washington has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Harding is working away from the top position though.
Washington regains full guard. Nicely done.
Harding has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Harding wants to control from the top but Washington keeps moving.
Harding is really struggling to control Washington but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Harding prevents Washington from getting back to his feet.
Washington working for a triangle but Harding defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Washington is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Harding rolls with it to try and escape but Washington cranks on the arm and Harding is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Darcus Washington decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
