Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dakota Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Patriko El (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blevins comes into the arena with here comes the boom blaring out of the sound system. Dakota Blevins had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dakota Blevins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Patriko El! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! El avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Blevins closes the distance and lands a one-two. El scores with a head kick.
Blevins dips to his left and cracks El with an uppercut! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blevins cracks El with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! El looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Blevins finish him?
El is rocked! The fight moves into the clinch position. El is still on wobbly legs! Can Blevins finish him? El breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Blevins moves into range and clinches up with El. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Blevins is trying to break the clinch but El is controlling him. Blevins has El pressed against the cage, preventing El from circling away and getting back to striking at range. El seems to have recovered his senses. Blevins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Blevins fails with an attempt to clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Blevins looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Blevins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by El. Blevins takes the fight into the clinch. Blevins wants to get back to striking at distance but El won't allow it.
El manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

A battle for position here, against the cage. El jumps guard but Blevins stands there with El around his waist. El gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Blevins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says El as he avoids it easily. Nice sprawl there from El as Blevins shoots in. Blevins lands with a good body shot. Blevins shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Blevins showed some decent athleticism there. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Blevins wants to stand but El has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. El makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Blevins swats away the attempt to clinch by El. Blevins tries to clinch up and El counters with a lovely shot to the body. El pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Blevins gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. El is fighting off a takedown attempt but Blevins is just too persistent for him and manages to trip El to the mat. El regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Blevins has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of El is proving hard to escape from. Blevins stands up from El's guard - Blevins perhaps looking for a knockout. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blevins fails to land the takedown. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

El lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. A head kick from El lands but Blevins takes it in his stride. Blevins scores with a jab to the jaw. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. El wriggles free and stands up. Blevins is looking to clinch. El misses with an elbow over the top. Blevins tries to circle away but El has him pinned against the cage. Blevins wants to get back to striking at distance but El won't allow it.
El wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blevins has him pressed against the cage. Blevins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. El gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Blevins wants to stand but El has a closed guard, so he can't escape. El is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Blevins has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of El is proving hard to escape from. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if El can do anything to dispel that myth. El wants to get back to his feet but Blevins is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Blevins pushing down on El's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Blevins working El over with strikes. Blevins takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Blevins throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Blevins sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. El defending well though. This has been an exciting period of action! El looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blevins is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Blevins lands a heavy elbow. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. El is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Blevins moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, El has worked his arm free - good work by El!
El is not content to let Blevins control the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Dakota Blevins showed his dominance in that final round. Well Blevins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Dakota Blevins decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
