Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hugh Recksun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Winston Churchill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Recksun comes to the cage accompanied by The Stroke. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugh Recksun! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Winston Churchill! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Churchill shoots in but no luck this time. Churchill stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Churchill wants it to stay on the feet. Churchill moves to clinch but Recksun breaks away and Recksun counters with a slapping leg kick. Churchill tries to clinch but fails miserably and Recksun counters with an inside leg kick. Winston Churchill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Churchill wants to clinch and Recksun counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Recksun has Churchill up against the cage in a clinch.
Recksun is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Churchill misses with a short punch on the inside. Churchill struggles to land a body shot inside as Recksun controls his hands.

Churchill shoots in looking for a takedown but Recksun manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Churchill's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Churchill closes the distance but Recksun moves to the side and Recksun counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. No luck for Churchill with that takedown attempt. Hugh Recksun has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Winston Churchill. Churchill darts in trying to clinch and Recksun counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Recksun has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Hugh Recksun. Churchill moves to clinch but Recksun breaks away and Recksun counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Recksun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Recksun throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Churchill was covering up waiting for the punch and Recksun finishes the takedown easily into guard. Churchill working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Recksun. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Recksun seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's one minute gone in the round. Churchill chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Recksun can pounce on him.
Churchill tries to clinch but Recksun moves away and Recksun counters with a nice body kick. Churchill is breathing heavily. Churchill closes the distance but Recksun moves to the side and Recksun counters with a single leg into guard. Churchill didn't expect that. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Recksun in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Recksun advances to half guard. Recksun is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Churchill can do to turn this around? The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Recksun works his way into side control. Recksun misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Recksun steps back and let's Churchill get back to his feet. Churchill takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Churchill wants to clinch and Recksun counters with an outside leg kick.
Recksun stuffs the takedown. Recksun feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Churchills jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Churchill looks to clinch and Recksun counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

It looks like Winston Churchill has been cut. Churchill wants to clinch but Recksun slips to the side and Recksun counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Recksun looking to finish! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Recksun looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Recksun throwing strikes but missing. Churchill really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Recksun. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Churchill takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Recksun slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Hugh Recksun wasn't doing enough on the ground. Churchill changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Recksun tries to avoid it but Churchill manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Recksun to the ground. Recksun escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Recksun rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Churchill moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Recksun tries to bum rush Churchill with a series of wild strikes but Churchill uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Recksun stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Recksun wants it to stay on the feet. Hugh Recksun is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Recksun will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Churchill takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Recksun shoots in but Churchill avoids the takedown attempt easily. That kick from Recksun tenderised Churchill's leg. Churchill is trying to keep his angry face on.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Churchill moves to clinch but Recksun breaks away and Recksun counters with a shoot takedown. Churchill fights it but they end up in guard. Churchill preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Recksun has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Recksun is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

We're going to have a standup here because Hugh Recksun wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Churchill closes the distance but Recksun moves to the side and Recksun counters with a three punch combo that has Churchill backing up. Churchill nods at Recksun to acknowledge the strikes. Churchill looks to clinch and Recksun makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Churchill moves to clinch but Recksun breaks away and Recksun counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Churchill is trying desperately to land a takedown but Recksun is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Churchill. Recksun fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Recksun scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sloppy strikes from Recksun. Those never looked like landing. Recksun lands a head kick that stumbles Churchill and the fighters go to the mat. Recksun engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Recksun passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Recksun looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Churchill is avoiding damage well.
Recksun controlling from side mount. Recksun has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Hugh Recksun showed his dominance in that final round. Well Recksun has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
