Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saukko slips under a jab from Hartford.
Hartford looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Saukko moves out of range as Hartford throws a body kick.
Hartford throws a hook to the side of Saukko's head but Saukko sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Saukko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hartford.
Saukko avoids the body shot from Hartford.
Hartford throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Saukko avoids the head kick by Hartford.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hartford tries to land a front kick but Saukko steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Billy Hartford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saukko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hartford tries to avoid it but Saukko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hartford to the ground. Hartford escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hartford swings for the body but Saukko moves out of range.

Saukko on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Hartford is looking to clinch but Saukko is avoiding it.
Hartford throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hartford throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
No luck for Saukko with that takedown attempt.

Hartford scores with a nice right hand.
A nice leg kick lands there from Hartford.

Hartford uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Hartford misses with a straight right.
Hartford swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Hartford.
Saukko is rocked!
A head kick by Hartford - that's a beauty! Saukko is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Hartford can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
