Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fred Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Jayz(Run This Town). Lucas Emelianenko has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris circles away from the clinch attempt

and Norris counters by moving into the clinch.

Norris has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Emelianenko after a bit of a struggle.

Emelianenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Emelianenko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Norris has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Norris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Emelianenko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Emelianenko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Norris throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Emelianenko escapes and throws Norris's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Norris is pushing Emelianenko 's head away, looking to escape. Emelianenko manages to hold on to the position though.
Norris tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Emelianenko wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Norris is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Emelianenko asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Norris is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Emelianenko can't fight it off and eventually Norris manages to take the fight to the floor. Emelianenko looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Norris wants to pass the guard but Emelianenko is keeping the position.
Fred Norris has got the better of the ground game so far.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

I would just about give that final round to Fred Norris.
