Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Bos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karol Operhalski! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Operhalski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bos swivels and escapes. Bos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bos takes the fight into the clinch. Operhalski can't get the takedown.
Operhalski avoids a wild elbow strike from Bos. Operhalski has Bos pressed against the cage, preventing Bos from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Bos breaks from the clinch.
Bos looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Operhalski gets back to full guard.
Bos looking to sit in guard and control but Operhalski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Operhalski trying to control but Bos is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Operhalski stays in close to Bos's body and controls the position. Operhalski trying to control the position from guard on top but Bos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bos being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Karol Operhalski wasn't active enough on the ground. Bos instigates a clinch. Bos looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Operhalski goes for a takedown attempt but Bos pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Danny Bos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karol Operhalski.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bos closes the distance and pushes Operhalski back into the cage. Bos is looking to control Operhalski's arms but Operhalski gets an underhook and turns him. Now Bos has his back to the cage. Operhalski jumps guard but Bos stands there with Operhalski around his waist. Operhalski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Bos is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bos wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Operhalski has him pressed against the cage. Bos can't break the clinch.

Bos's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Bos is trying to break the clinch but Operhalski is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Operhalski wants a takedown but no success here.
Operhalski is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bos pulls him back up using the underhooks. A frustrated look appears on Bos's face as he tries to break the clinch. Bos wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Operhalski has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bos after a bit of a struggle. Bos breaks from the clinch.
Bos swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Bos!
It looks like Karol Operhalski has been cut. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bos rushes Operhalski and presses him up against the cage. Bos missing with knees to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Operhalski pulls guard. Operhalski has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bos looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Operhalski is pulling down on Bos's head to control his posture. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Karol Operhalski. Bos scores with a jab to the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bos closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Bos manages to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bos rushes Operhalski and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bos is trying to break free. Bos looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bos wants to break the clinch but can't.

Bos with a jab. Operhalski fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Operhalski with that takedown attempt. Bos misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bos forces Operhalski back against the cage and clinches. Bos tries to circle away but Operhalski has him pinned against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Bos's face as he tries to break the clinch. Operhalski tries to score a body lock takedown but Bos shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Danny Bos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Karol Operhalski.
That's one minute gone in the round. Operhalski prevents Bos from breaking the clinch. Bos is trying to push Operhalski away but Operhalski has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Operhalski fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Operhalski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bos pulls his leg out and moves away.
Operhalski looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bos is fending him off so far but Operhalski persists. Nope, Bos circles away and we're back to standing. Bos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Operhalski is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bos sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bos throws a nice looking combination but Operhalski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Bos throws a combination. Operhalski tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Bos lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bos.
Operhalski is rocked! Operhalski is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bos throws a right and a left that both miss. Operhalski is still on wobbly legs! Can Bos finish him? Bos bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bos has taken the fight to the clinch.
Operhalski tries to pull guard but Bos holds him up against the cage and eventually Operhalski drops back down to his feet.
Bos lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bos keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Operhalski seems to have recovered his senses. Bos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Operhalski's head. Bos is pressing down on Operhalski's thigh, looking to free his foot. Operhalski is holding on for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Danny Bos just wasn't active enough. Operhalski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bos misses with a few strikes there.
Bos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Operhalski.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Operhalski moves in looking to clinch but Bos pushes him off. Operhalski slips a jab and a cross from Bos.
Operhalski shoots for a takedown but Bos saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Danny Bos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bos shoots in and gets a takedown into Operhalski's guard. Operhalski is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Bos wants to control from the top but Operhalski keeps moving. Bos drops back, looking for a kneebar! Operhalski looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Operhalski looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Operhalski! Operhalski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Operhalski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Operhalski slows the pace down.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Operhalski trying to control the action but Bos is working from the bottom. Bos wants to control but Operhalski postures up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Operhalski remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Operhalski is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bos is trying to escape and Operhalski transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bos is forced to tap! Nice work there by Operhalski! Very nice indeed!
