The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yeo shoots for a double leg takedown but Ryuu sprawls well. He's pushed Yeo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Axelito Yeo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yeo misses with a takedown attempt - Ryuu sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice sprawl there from Ryuu as Yeo shoots in.

Ryuu lands a jab to Yeo's midsection.
Yeo is breathing heavily.

Ryuu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ryuu in particular looking to stall.
Yeo seems to have got his legs back now.
Ryuu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Ryuu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Yeo is just riding it out for now. Ryuu eventually gives up the hold.

Ryuu is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Yeo has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ryuu stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Ryuu scores with a nice right hand.
Ryuu connects with a good right hand that stumbles Yeo. Yeo circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Yeo takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ryuu is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Yeo hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
