Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Augustine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Augustine kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Stooges - I Wanna Be Your Dog. Johns has chosen By the Sword - Slash as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shane Johns was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shane Johns!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns scores with a jab to the jaw.
Augustine bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Augustine tried to score with a low kick but Johns checks it.
Johns lands a jab.
Augustine keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Augustine defending well as Johns loads up on a big left hand.
A slow jab from Augustine misses its intended target.
Augustine lands a head kick!
Johns tries to clinch but Augustine moves out of range.
A combination from Augustine does no damage.
Augustine will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Johns ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Augustine lands a left and a right that send Johns crashing to the mat, dazed. Augustine thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Shane Johns has been cut.
Johns works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Augustine tries to clinch up but Johns circles away and keeps his distance.
Augustine misses with a straight right.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Johns, as that shot connected.
Johns throws an overhand right that lands on Augustine's shoulder, as Augustine tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johns loses concentration momentarily and Augustine pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Johns crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Augustine finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tim Augustine!
