The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simpson jabs Gibbs to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Simpson digs a good body shot into Gibbs's ribs.
Gibbs walks into a jab.
Gibbs tries to work over Simpson's front leg with a kick but Simpson checks it.
Gibbs finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Simpson checks the leg kick.
Simpson works Gibbs's body with a nice hook.

Simpson rushes Gibbs with punches - Gibbs moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gibbs goes down! Simpson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
