Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rand James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rubert Kuminauha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kuminauha's choice of entrance music: Celine Dion - Just Walk Away. Rubert Kuminauha told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuminauha misses with a takedown
and James counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Kuminauha is lucky that one didn't land flush.
James pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kuminauha is out of range and James settles back down.
Kuminauha swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The crowd cheers as Kuminauha lands an impressive looking overhand right. James doesn't seem phased though.
James tries a head kick but it misses.
Kuminauha shoots in and bounces James off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
James can't keep his opponent in guard - Kuminauha advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kuminauha is working for an americana but James has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Kuminauha was thinking about the submission.

Kuminauha drops back, looking for a kneebar! James looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. James looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from James!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

James seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kuminauha does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kuminauha had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. James defends it easily.

James gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kuminauha to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Kuminauha postures up in James's guard and throws a big left but James blocks it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
