The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington tries to bum rush Gangsta with a series of wild strikes but Gangsta uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gangsta tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Washington paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Washington's jab looks to have found its range, popping Gangsta under the eye.
Washington lands an overhand right.
Washington throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Washington.

Washington goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gangsta rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Washington's guard! Nice work there by Gangsta!
Gangsta would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gangsta trying to control but Washington is working from the bottom.

Gangsta decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Nice defenses there by Gangsta.
Gangsta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Gangsta lands a big head kick that sends Washington tumbling to the mat! Gangsta takes a step backwards and waves Washington back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Jake Washington has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd cheers as Washington lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gangsta doesn't seem phased though.
Washington scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jake Washington seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gangsta goes for a small jab and connects. Now Gangsta goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Washington stumbles back but Gangsta runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Washington to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Washington will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
