Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Don chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Magzhanbai can pounce on him.
Magzhanbai clinches up against the cage.
Da Don is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Magzhanbai pulls guard effortlessly.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Magzhan Magzhanbai hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Magzhanbai throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Da Don stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Magzhanbai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Magzhanbai wants it to stay on the feet.
Magzhanbai rushes Da Don and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Magzhanbai's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Da Don fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Magzhanbai throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Da Don's waist but Da Don gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Magzhanbai off to one side.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Magzhanbai gets control of Da Don's arms and successfully pulls guard. Magzhanbai will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Magzhanbai is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Magzhanbai moves nicely into side control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Magzhan Magzhanbai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Da Don changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Magzhanbai tries to avoid it but Da Don manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Magzhanbai to the ground. Magzhanbai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Magzhanbai.

Magzhanbai closes the distance and clinches up with Da Don, looking for a takedown. Magzhanbai pushes Da Don against the cage but Da Don circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Well Magzhanbai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
