Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Henley Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank Powers! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris clinches with his opponent.
Harris wants a takedown but no success here.

Powers has Harris pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Harris manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Powers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Powers has managed to get both his arms back between Harris's legs - danger averted. Harris looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Powers passes into half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Henley Harris will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Powers fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harris sprawls well initially but Powers persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Powers prevents Harris from improving his position. Powers controlling the action here. Harris wants to improve his position but Powers is controlling well.
Harris is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Powers pulls his head out easily. Harris is refusing to be controlled, as Powers sits in half guard. Powers drops an elbow to the side of Harris's head. Harris is trying to maintain the position but Powers is very close to passing his half guard. Powers is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Harris tries to get to full guard but Powers has control of the leg. Powers scores with a couple of good hammerfists. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Powers connects with a nice short shot to Harris's temple. Harris moves into full guard.
Powers wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving. Powers is looking to work some ground and pound but Harris has wrist control. OK we're going to have a standup here. Frank Powers hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Powers fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Powers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harris as he jumps to the side. Powers is breathing heavily. Harris shoots in but no luck this time. Powers looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Powers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Powers has managed to get both his arms back between Harris's legs - danger averted. Powers sitting in guard, not really doing much. Harris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Powers with a flurry of punches that miss. Powers avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Harris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Powers defends well. Powers lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Harris looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Powers trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harris is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Powers is aware though and is defending well. Powers postures up and lands a big shot to Harris's brow. Harris escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Powers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Powers showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Powers looks to land a combination. Harris sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Powers doesn't succeed with the takedown and Harris counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Harris is working for a submission of some sort.

Trouble for Powers! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Harris prevents Powers from getting the reversal. Harris has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Powers is forced to tap!
