Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ping Pong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Boss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ping Pong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ping Pong! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, The Boss! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boss shoots in for a takedown but Pong shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pong shoots in but Boss avoids the takedown attempt easily. Boss scores with a takedown into Pong's guard. Pong pushes Boss off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Pong closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Boss is looking to escape. Boss is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Pong is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Boss has managed to free his arm - good work. Boss is looking to get back to is feet but Pong passes into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action! Pong tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Pong looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pong lands a nice forearm strike. Boss is pushing Pong's head away, looking to escape. Pong manages to hold on to the position though. Pong trying to control the position but Boss is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boss is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Pong has just dragged him back down to the mat. Pong thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Pong is working Boss over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pong working the body and head with strikes. Boss is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. This has been an exciting period of action! Pong moves into full mount! Boss looks gassed! Boss wants to get back to his feet.
Pong has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Boss's face.
Boss is rocked! Pong postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Boss badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Pong around the waist but Pong pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Pong is the winner by TKO! Pong jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ping Pong! Ping Pong was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
