Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Craig Patton!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Andrew Berry and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton closes the distance and clinches.
Patton is pressed up against the ropes. Denver has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Patton down to the mat. Patton avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Patton clinches.
Patton throws an elbow but it misses.
Patton tries to pull guard but Denver forces him back to his feet, against the ropes.
Patton breaks from the clinch.
Patton pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Denver back to the ropes. Patton follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Denver feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Patton parries the strikes from Denver easily there. Denver is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Patton to escape.
Denver advances nicely into full mount.
Patton is bucking up trying to escape but Denver cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Patton ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A looping hook to the body misses from Patton. Denver does a little dance to reset his feet.
Denver shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
