Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johny Cash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johny Cash will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick James! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Johny Cash! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cash connects with a high kick.
It looks like Rick James has been cut. Cash shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with James but James pushes him off and we're back to square one. James dives in and grabs Cash's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cash pushes down on James's head and hops out. Cash keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. James shoots for a double leg takedown but Cash sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick James. That's going to take a lot out of him. James tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Cash counters into the clinch. Nicely done. James drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cash gets the underhooks and prevents it.
James wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cash has him pressed against the cage. Cash drags the fight down to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Cash postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for James to stand up. James moves in looking to clinch but Cash pushes him off. James is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cash sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. James throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cash tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. James is in Cash's guard. Cash has his hands on James's head, controlling the position. James stopping the sweep attempt from Cash. James wants to control from the top but Cash keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cash has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes James off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. James fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around James's waist but James gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cash off to one side. James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cash's half guard. James is breathing heavily. Cash wants to sweep but James has passed to side control! You can see the frustration on Cash's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked James off and has taken his back! Cash biding his time, looking for the opening.
Cash is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. James defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Cash is trying to stick to James's back but James is turning into Cash. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cash's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by James. Cash keeping full guard, as James tries to pass.

James looking to sit in guard and control but Cash gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. James is wriggling around but Cash manages to pass to half guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cash trying to control from half guard but James is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cash keeps the fight on the outside. Cash shoots in but no luck this time. James throws the kick towards the body but Cash avoids it. James throws a lazy head kick and Cash counters with a left to the body. James shoots in looking for a takedown but Cash manages to keep the fight standing, pushing James's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. James tries to clinch but Cash moves out of range. Cash displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from James. James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cash tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cash to the ground. Cash escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick James. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice takedown defense from James. No joy for Cash on that attempt. James tries to keep at a distance but Cash has taken the fight into the clinch. Cash has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by James after a bit of a struggle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash jumps guard but James turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cash successfully pulls guard.
James wants to stand but Cash has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Cash looking for a sweep. Not yet Cash, not yet. James throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James trying to control the position from guard on top but Cash is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cash pushes James off and scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James stuffs the takedown attempt from Cash. Cash gets slowly back to his feet. James fails with a takedown attempt from distance. James shoots for a takedown but Cash saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Cash has closed the distance and engaged James in a clinch.

James trying to control but Cash is working from the bottom. Cash manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. James manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cash pushing down on James's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Cash trying to control the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cash decides to stand and escape the position. Cash shoots in but James avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. James looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cash! James takes Cash's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.
Cash is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. James is looking to control Cash but Cash is wriggling around and keeping busy. James avoiding Cash 's attempts to control his hands. Johny Cash has got the better of the ground game so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johny Cash showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rick James's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
James fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cash to the ground. James is now in Cash's guard. James might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. James would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Cash uses the cage to get back to his feet.
James wants to clinch and Cash counters with a slapping leg kick. Cash wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A kick lands to the mid section there for Cash. Cash gets in close and instigates a clinch. James gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cash.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cash has James pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. James manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. James stops a takedown attempt from Cash.
Rick James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johny Cash. James has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. James is trying to pull guard but Cash turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. James throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Cash blocks it with crossed arms. Cash has James pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. James manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. James wants to stall.
Cash is trying to work for a single leg takedown but James pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James is looking to control Cash's arms but Cash gets an underhook and turns him. Now James has his back to the cage. Cash looking to slow down the pace here. James tries to pull guard but Cash won't allow it.

James tries to score a body lock takedown but Cash shows good agility there to stay on his feet. James prevents a takedown attempt there.
James tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Cash just stands there and leans against the cage. James drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cash gets control of James's arms and successfully pulls guard. Cash will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

James is looking to stand up but Cash won't let him. Cash wants to stand up but James is controlling him. James looking to pass the guard. Cash trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. James wants to control from the top but Cash keeps moving.
Rick James has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Cash connects with the punch. Decent striking displayed by James there. Cash throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. James ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cash moves away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cash avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
James moves in looking to clinch but Cash pushes him off. Rick James has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Johny Cash is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. James tries to close the distance and clinch but Cash swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Johny Cash. Well Cash has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
