PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Chris Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alabaster Dummy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vaughn comes to the ring accompanied by Walking Tall. On his way into the ring it seems that Chris Vaughn has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chris Vaughn seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Chris Vaughn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alabaster Dummy!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dummy connects with a solid leg kick.
Dummy tries a head kick but it misses.
Vaughn lands a right hook to the body.
Dummy lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Dummy dodges the punch combination from Vaughn.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Vaughn checks a leg kick.
Dummy is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Vaughn lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.


It looks like Alabaster Dummy has been cut.
Dummy tries to clinch
letting Vaughn counter with a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vaughn cracks Dummy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Vaughn misses with the combination.
Dummy tries to work over Vaughn's front leg with a kick but Vaughn checks it.
Dummy throws a low kick but Vaughn moves out of range easily.
Dummy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Vaughn has managed to clinch.
Vaughn lands a hook that snaps the head of Dummy backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Vaughn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A low kick from Dummy misses
enabling Vaughn to counter with a crisp jab.
Vaughn listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Vaughn is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Vaughn throws a one two combo.
Vaughn looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vaughn moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dummy misses with a low kick.
Vaughn jabs Dummy right on the nose. Dummy blinks but takes it well.
Dummy misses with a low kick.
Vaughn sizes up Dummy with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dummy takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Vaughn is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
A low kick from Dummy is predictable there
and Dummy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vaughn listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Vaughn is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Vaughn misses with a two punch combination.
Dummy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Vaughn connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Dummy scrambles back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice uppercut lands for Vaughn. That snapped Dummy's head back.
Dummy throws a chopping leg kick but Vaughn manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Dummy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.


That has opened up Alabaster Dummy's cut even more.
Dummy throws a nice inside leg kick.
A low kick from Dummy is predictable there
enabling Vaughn to counter with a crisp jab.
Vaughn lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Dummy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Vaughn's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dummy under the eye.
Dummy attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Dummy tries to land a leg kick but Vaughn saw it coming and moves away.
Vaughn feints a jab promting Dummy to slip. Vaughn then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Dummy slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Dummy is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Vaughn.

Vaughn has Dummy up against the ropes in a clinch.
Dummy missing with knees to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dummy throws an elbow that misses.
Vaughn creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dummy's defenses.


The cut above Alabaster Dummy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Vaughn avoiding damage as Dummy throws knees to the body.
Vaughn stalling against the ropes.

Vaughn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dummy throws a leg kick
and Vaughn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Dummy throws a sloppy head kick
and Vaughn counters with a one-two to the body.


Alabaster Dummy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Dummy takes one to the side of the head.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alabaster Dummy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chris Vaughn!
Chris Vaughn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
