The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ender pushes Bengala away with a front kick. Ender wants to clinch. Ender tries to close the distance and clinch but Bengala swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ender moves into the clinch. Ender is trying to force a seperation but Bengala has the dominant position. Bengala tries for a takedown. No joy.
Bengala has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ender after a bit of a struggle. Bengala tries for a takedown. No joy.
Trace Ender has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kid Bengala. Bengala drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ender pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bengala shoots in for a double leg but Ender sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ender fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ender fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bengala, pushing him back against the cage. Still in the clinch, Ender scores with a nice short uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ender working hard to break the clinch. Ender prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bengala has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ender after a bit of a struggle. Ender jumps guard.
Ender working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bengala doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bengala manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ender trying to keep a closed guard but Bengala is proving a slippery customer.
Bengala is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Ender is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Ender not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bengala with the active half guard here but Ender passes nicely into side control. Ender is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bengala knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bengala is looking for a sweep. Bengala gets back to half guard. Ender wants to free his trapped foot but Bengala is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bengala has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Ender. Oh but Bengala has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Ender goes limp - he's gone! Bengala jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
