The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis wants to clinch
and Mogila decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Lewis's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Mogila tries to free his leg and advance position but Lewis is retaining full guard.
Mogila's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Lewis drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mogila looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mogila looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mogila!
Mogila grinds an elbow into Lewis's temple.

Mogila in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Mogila has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mogila takes a little break here. Lewis wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Lewis has hold of Mogila's hands but Mogila slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Lewis is looking for a sweep. Mogila is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Mogila winds up and cracks Lewis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
