Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anak Monyet!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monyet misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Monyet throws a solid leg kick but Nero takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Monyet.
Nero closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Nero is trying to control. Monyet wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Monyet is looking for a sweep. Nero is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Nero passes the guard and advances to mount!
Nero is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Monyet can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
It looks like Anak Monyet has been cut.
Monyet is in a horrible position here. Nero smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Monyet tries to improve his position but Nero has taken his back! Nero has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Monyet tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Nero pushes Monyet away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Raphael Nero!
In his post fight interview, Raphael Nero started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
