The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Spliff lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Spliff misses with a jab, cross combination.
Spliff throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Garcia ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Garcia avoids the body shot from Spliff.
Spliff takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Garcia works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Spliff fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Garcia keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Garcia stuffs the takedown.
Spliff takes a swing at Garcia's ribcage but misses.
Spliff scores with a jab to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Spliff throws a series of punches but Garcia avoids them all with ease.
Spliff lands a nice hook to Garcia's body. Garcia takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Spliff punishes Garcia's body with a nice straight punch.
Garcia scores a takedown into full mount!
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Garcia cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Garcia loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Spliff scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Garcia land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Garcia stands and salutes the crowd.

After the fight, Sergio Garcia was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
