It looks like Nikita Kirillov has been cut.
Dio throws a series of punches but Kirillov moves out of range.
Dio blocks a head kick by Kirillov.
Kirillov tries to clinch up.
Nikita Kirillov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dio feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Kirillov sprawling to the canvas! Kirillov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dio finish him?!

Kirillov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kirillov leaves his chin hanging out and Dio seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Kirillov crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zack Dio!
A relieved looking Zack Dio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
