Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deep Fryer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victor Lopez looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fryer fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lopez to the ground. Fryer is now in Lopez's guard.
Fryer stands up and waves to Lopez to follow him.
Fryer misses with the combination.
Fryer feints and as Lopez raises his hands in defense, Fryer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fryer is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Fryer's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Deep Fryer wasn't active enough on the ground.
Fryer keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lopez.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fryer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lopez quickly recovers to half guard.
Fryer decides to return to a standing position.
Fryer scores with a takedown into Lopez's guard.
Lopez is breathing heavily.
Fryer pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lopez is keeping the position for now.
Fryer drops back looking for a leg! Lopez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lopez manages to kick Fryer off! Fryer jumps back into Lopez's guard.
Fryer's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Fryer should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Fryer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Fryer wants to pass the guard but Lopez is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fryer works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lopez is trying to stand.

Fryer postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Lopez to stand up.
A slow jab from Lopez misses its intended target.
Fryer tries to bum rush Lopez with a series of wild strikes but Lopez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fryer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fryer lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Lopez seems a little lost for a moment, as Fryer dominates the positioning.
Fryer has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Fryer is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Lopez is forced to tap! Great finish!
