Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brian Estep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenny Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Estep comes to the cage accompanied by Courageous. On his way into the cage it seems that Brian Estep has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Brian Estep seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Estep! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lenny Butler! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Butler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Butler dominating with strikes here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Estep is looking to improve his position but Butler isn't that keen on the idea. Butler content just to control the position here. Butler avoids the attempt from Estep to control. Butler in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Butler lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Butler raining down shots from the mount! Butler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Estep. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Estep tries to hold on but Butler pushes him away. Butler manages to capitalize on a mistake by Estep to take his back! Butler tries to get the hooks in deep but Estep pushed the leg off. Butler is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Butler really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Estep. Butler misses with a punch to the head. Butler lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here.

Butler is persistently looking for the submission but Estep is defending it well.
This has been an exciting period of action! Estep trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butler doesn't have the hooks in and Estep manages to turn into his guard.
Butler preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Estep throwing strikes from guard but Butler blocks nicely. Estep drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Butler dives on top into guard. Butler pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Estep is keeping the position for now. Estep escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Butler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Butler looking to pass the guard.

Butler is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Butler landing some decent shots from guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Estep keeping moving, preventing Butler from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lenny Butler dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
A shot to the body from Butler misses and Estep counters with a head kick. That will keep Butler thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! The crowd cheers as Butler lands an impressive looking overhand right. Estep doesn't seem phased though. Brian Estep is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Estep tries to clinch but Butler moves out of range. Estep takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Butler scores a takedown into full mount! Estep is wriggling around trying to escape.
This has been an exciting period of action! Butler controlling his opponent. Butler is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Estep to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Estep shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butler looking to control and managing it successfully. Estep tries to get back to half guard but can't. The referee warns Estep that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Estep is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Estep tries to lock up and control but Butler gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Butler tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butler trying to control but he's not successful this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Estep regains half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Lenny Butler has got the better of the ground game so far. Estep wants to control but Butler is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butler tries to stand and escape but Estep is controlling the position. Butler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Butler wants to pass the guard but Estep is defending well. Butler perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Butler wants to lay and pray for a moment but Estep keeps working. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Estep is trying to control but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lenny Butler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Estep shoots and misses and Butler counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Estep gets caught napping as Butler dives in and scores a takedown. Estep manages to retain guard. Estep throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Estep keeping moving, preventing Butler from controlling successfully. Butler is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Butler throws an elbow that misses. Estep uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Butler's guard. Nice move by Estep! Butler trying to strike off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Butler is trying to keep Estep in close.
Estep throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Estep accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Estep has gone for a leg lock! Butler slips out almost immediately though and dives into Estep's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Butler trying to control but Estep is working from the bottom. Butler tries to free his leg and advance position but Estep is retaining full guard. Butler slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Lenny Butler. Estep moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Butler avoids the body shot from Estep.
Estep misses with a double jab.
Butler gets in close and instigates a clinch. Estep is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Butler pulls him back up using the underhooks. Butler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Estep shoots in for a takedown but Butler shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Estep. That's going to take a lot out of him. Butler feints and as Estep raises his hands in defense, Butler changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Estep throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Butler content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Butler content to stall in guard here. Estep utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Butler controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Butler pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Estep is keeping the position for now.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Lenny Butler. Estep fails with the takedown. Estep avoids the head kick by Butler.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Butler throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Estep tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Butler is in Estep's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Butler has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Estep is proving hard to escape from.
And that's the end of the fight! Lenny Butler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Butler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
