Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Castle counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Smith is looking to get back to is feet but Castle passes into side control.
Smith is being controlled here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith is looking for a sweep. Smith wants to control but Castle postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Smith struggling a bit here. Castle staying calm. Castle decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith darts in trying to clinch and Castle counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Smith is lucky that one didn't land flush. Excellent takedown into side control there by Castle. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smith wants to control but Castle postures up. Smith looking for a sweep but Castle has passed into full mount! Oh no!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Smith is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Smith is working hard here to advance position. Castle landing strikes, looking to finish! Castle controlling the pace for now. Castle avoids the attempt from Smith to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Castle controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Castle misses with a two punch combination.
Chris Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smith has managed to clinch.
Smith tries to score a body lock takedown but Castle shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Castle gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Smith.
Smith lands a nice knee to the body. Smith is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Castle's elbow. Smith wants to get back to striking at distance but Castle won't allow it.
Smith trying to control the position but instead, Castle has worked for underhooks and has pushed Smith into the cage. Castle has Smith pressed against the cage, preventing Smith from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Smith lands a knee to the body.
Smith fails to pull guard.
Smith stalling in the clinch but Castle improves position.

Smith tries to work over Castle's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Smith tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Smith is trying to pull guard but Castle has him pressed against the cage. Smith tries to stall but Castle uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Castle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Castle sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Castle is defended easily by Smith.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle moves into the clinch. Smith has had enough of the clinch but Castle keeps him there for the moment. Smith fails to pull guard.
Castle lands a body punch. Smith working hard to break the clinch. Smith wants a takedown but no success here.
Castle escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith with a poor takedown and Castle counters with a leg kick. Horrible takedown by Castle or perhaps it was just good defense by Smith which made him look bad. A head kick misses from Smith. Castle displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
It looks like Chris Smith has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Castle shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Smith sprawls well. Smith wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Castle gets slowly back to his feet. Castle looking to score a takedown here. Smith is defending well but Castle drives through and ends up in Smith's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Castle showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Chris Smith's cut. That's time! Smith's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Nice body punch from Castle. Smith lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Castle backs up against the cage.
A big left from Smith misses. Smith darts in trying to clinch and Castle counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Smith! Rick Castle has got the better of the ground game so far. Smith keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Smith wants to hold on but Castle pushes him away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Smith is looking to improve his position but Castle isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Castle controlling his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Castle prevents Smith from getting the reversal. Castle sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Rick Castle has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Castle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Castle takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Castle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Castle displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Smith. Chris Smith is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Castle scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Castle decides to stand up, so the ref orders Smith to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Smith sprawls well initially but Castle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Smith wants to sweep but Castle has passed to side control! A lull in the action here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chris Smith has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rick Castle is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Rick Castle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Castle winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
