And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nostra has his takedown stuffed
and Pfeifer makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Nostra really felt that one!
Pfeifer scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Nostra looks to clinch
and Pfeifer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nostra has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Pfeifer.
Nostra misses with a leg kick.
Pfeifer darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nostra takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Good standup being displayed there by Pfeifer as he connects with a hook.
Pfeifer moves out of range of the body kick.
Pfeifer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Pfeifer counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Nostra! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Pfeifer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vitali Pfeifer! Vitali Pfeifer retains his bantamweight title!
A relieved looking Vitali Pfeifer thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
